This song has examples of irony in the last couple verses. In the lines “She was supposed to buy ya shorty Tyco with ya money, She went to the doctor got lipo with ya money, She walkin' around lookin' like Michael with ya money, Shoulda' got that insured, GEICO for ya moneeey(your money)” all have irony because the girl was supposed to do something he expected, then didn’t.

This song is all about remembering a friend that died and how much love and respect they had for him. The lines "A toast but my granddaddy came sober" and "5 kids at 21" are both ironic because they are the opposite of what you think.
